These mini ice cream cakes are perfect for any celebration – Wired PR Lifestyle Story

Since I’ve been a self-proclaimed ice cream lady all my friend’s life, it’s no surprise that when it comes to birthday parties, I’m a fan of the frozen variety, especially in the summer, the last thing I really want to do is bake and bake a cake. Have a strong hand opportunities without peace in my arsenal, celebrating all the time is so much more fun. Enter: mini ice cream cakes.

With my mother’s birthday coming up next month, I knew I wanted to create a fun recipe to make a holiday and summer gesture. Although I’m basically a sugar monster, the rest of his life could go on without eating dessert again. I know, blasphemy. It has become a habit for us to get some kind of cake — sometimes homemade, sometimes from HEB — so that we can take a bite after singing a happy birthday before demolishing our brother, father, and the rest.

But since birthdays need a cake, it’s a great idea to make cakes for one of her minimal cakes. After exploring some brainstorming and engineering flavors, I created these miniature ice cream cakes that are perfect for any celebration you’re sharing this season.

I’m talking about shortcuts today, which save time without compromising taste. If I use some pre-made ingredients and innovate a bit, I’m all for it. For these ice cream cakes, I used the pound cakes I bought at the store in two flavors; vanilla and chocolate, and two different ice cream flavors; summer strawberry and favorite vanilla ice cream.

To make things not too sweet, I used the generous help of my favorite jam Ayako and Family and then a magical homemade chocolate shell topped with some chocolate chips and fresh strawberries to get more summer-flavored snacks.

Yes, it’s technically a no-holds-barred recipe, but these are the best because they leave a lot to interpretation and customization!

Here are some other flavor combinations I want to try:

Chocolate and Hur: Use a brownie or chocolate cake base, double chocolate ice cream, layer with Nutella, top with a magic shell and chopped hazelnuts.

Vanilla and Chocolate Orange: Use the base of the pound cake, vanilla ice cream, a layer of orange jam and fresh orange juice, topped with a magic chocolate shell.

Summer Fruits: Use a pound cake base, raspberry ice cream, strawberry ice cream and cherry ice cream, cream and fresh berries on top.

The combinations are endless!

For clean and uniform layers, I recommend using ring molds. They will help you cover them all with the same size and thickness and you will get clean sides when you unmold them. If you don’t have a ring mold, you can put everything in a masonry and eat it straight from the jar for easy transport!

These cakes couldn’t have been easier and I can’t wait for my mom to celebrate her summer birthday. Even if you don’t make these for big celebrations, they are the perfect individual-sized delicacies full of flavor.

If you eat them all, I promise I won’t tell you.
