Last summer, I had a problem …
My boyfriend and I often grabbed food and had a picnic in Washington Square Park. Then we took a wet walk through the city, and when the sun went down, we would head home across the Williamsburg Bridge, playing Would You Rather.
Most of the time, I would wear a sort of dress that means my inner thighs were on fire, and I’m not talking about my muscles. I touch my thighs when I walk, and when the weather is wet and hot, I get dizzy. By the time we got home, our thighs would be cramped and sore and small bumps would be produced. For the next few days, I walked around, trying not to let my thighs meet in the middle, even though they would inevitably do so.
At the same time, I began to learn about this magical anti-abrasion raft, perfect for oily skin. Everyone was surprised by this, which means I naturally ignore him (that’s my way). I come up with things in my own time, and I was skeptical too … it seemed too good to be true.
A few weeks earlier, I kept the spring as I got into the picture watching videos of Megababe creator Katie Sturino, Rubbing his inner thigh with what looks like deodorant, before heading out to conquer his day. It was not a deodorant, however. It was magical anti-friction closures! Why didn’t I decide to give the thighs a chance to fight? Enter Megababe rescues thighs.
Let me tell you: it’s as good as everyone says. A few days ago, I applied it before wearing straight leg jeans that could irritate the skin on long walks and the skin felt silky all day, without any irritation. I couldn’t believe it. What I like most is that when you apply it it doesn’t feel like greasy mess; it becomes a smooth and uniform barrier for your skin that soothes and protects you. Knowing that my thighs aren’t in danger of being stabbed this summer gives me a lot of peace of mind.
