In another fight, Jake Paul won the playoffs against a former professional athlete, saying he would clean the floor when he became a YouTube boxer. Paul expelled former UFC fighter Ben Askren in the first round of their pseudo-celebrity fight.

Although his boxing career is still young, some on social media suggested that Paul should increase his opponent’s class, as a boxer who is still at his professional peak – or at least still a pro athlete. However, much more in the online chat was based on the absorption taken by Askren.

Take, for example, shortly after the end of the fight, the phrase “Ben Askew” was trending, as presented by ring announcer Michael Buffer. It’s likely to go to whether the former UFC has won or lost, but it’s naturally tweeted much more as a substitute for an insult.

Of course, if anyone on Twitter is accustomed to this kind of humiliation that makes them laugh at the result they oppose, it’s Askren. The 36-year-old fighter was picking up the fastest knockout in UFC history in July 2019 the second he opened the hood that Jorge Masvidal pulled out, with his knee flying in his head. If there is any consolation, some heat on the net could have come from Askrene for the sake of the viewer’s frustration for how long the wait was for a short fight – some even went too far.

With all of this in mind, here’s Paul’s best reaction to the expulsion of his opponent, formerly known as Ben Askren.
