Tyson Fury Vs. Deontay Wilder 3, Manny Pacquiao vs. Errol Spence Jr. has loaded his boxing schedule this summer
[ad_1]
After Jake Paul destroys Ben Askren and before Logan Paul’s exhibition with Floyd Mayweather, a narrative has taken over that the clowns have taken control of the circus in boxing. If you’re really paying attention, though, the sport is making significant high-quality fights.
The summer of 2021 is facing a spectacular slate of major showdowns, including a couple of heavyweight title fights – Tyson Fury Vs. Anthony Joshua Deontay Wilder after torpedoing successful legal maneuvers. the biggest stars in the sport, arguably the best pound fighter on the planet.
Let’s take a look at some of the fights that have sparked us the most excitement as boxing has entered the summer.
Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul – June 6
Your mileage may change, but in terms of great interest, the biggest boxer of his generation took on the controversial social media influencer – who wasn’t even a profession on most of Mayweather’s careers – who will almost surpass him in the sky for martial arts. The result is not in doubt. Mayweather is at a disadvantage in size and age, Paul’s first problem is not knowing how to fight. Paul KSI, another Youtube star who doesn’t know how to box, won the professional premiere. Maybe that’s what will turn Mayweather into Logan’s brother Jake in this year’s exhibition fight, which is a little more interesting as Jake seems to be a boxer four times than Logan and once stole Mayweather’s hat.
Naoya Inoue vs. Michael Dasmarinas – June 19
Inoue Vs. Dasmarinas has not achieved the best possible pairing in the summer. That said, Inoue is one of the must-see boxing shows. In his last 10 fights, Inoue has only made the decision once, in a fight against Nonito Donaire in one of the best fights of 2019. Inoue is a force of nature and it’s worth it to tune someone to see someone fighting, even if it’s against someone like Dasmarinas, who is a skilled enough fighter but a name that doesn’t move a needle in the boxing world. This could also be Inoue’s latest fight in bantamweight (he has WBA and IBF belts) as Bob Arum has suggested that the Japanese slugger will gain weight after the fight.

The rest on June 19th
June 19 is a busy night of boxing. Inoue Vs. In addition to Dasmarinas, Jermall Charlo vs. Juan Macias Montiel and the stacked underlying card on Showtime, Jaime Munguia vs. Maciej Sulecki on DAZN, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. vs. MMA legend Anderson Silva in PPV and Teofimo Lopez vs. George Kambosos Jr. PPVn. There’s a little bit of something for everyone, some of the main events of questionable quality, some good card fights underneath, and some weird nonsense with Chavez vs. Silva as well. Peppers throughout these cards are, however, interesting fights. If you want to see men punching each other in the head for a few hours, June 19th is your day.
Vasiliy Lomachenko vs. Masayoshi Nakatani – June 26
Lomachenko does not take an easy fight in an effort to return to the track after losing to Teofimo Lopez in October 2020. Lomachenko, the main fighter who once weighed a pound in boxing, will repeatedly come across a tall, lightweight Nakatan. he lost only one career in the fight against Lopez, who was the first fighter to give Lopez real trouble. Lomachenko needs a win to re-establish himself as a player at the top end of a lightly loaded division and return to the mix with some 135-pound young, fresh names. Nakatani has the skills not to do that easily.
Jermell Charlo vs. Brian Castano – July 17th
Another to get the status of current boxing champion. Charlero has WBC, WBA and IBF super welterweight championships while Castano holds the WBO title. The fight between the two best fighters in the division is legitimate. As important as the legitimate nature of a fight between the four belts is, Charlo and Castano are both fan-friendly style fighters, the latter of whom are exciting. This is really exciting.
Tyson Fury Vs. Deontay Wilder 3 – July 24
It’s rare to be disappointed with the idea of a fight between the best heavyweights on the planet with a history of trash and drama. The disappointment is real, however, as Fury vs. He killed Anthony Joshua with this fight to determine the undisputed heavyweight champion. After a tremendous draw in the first fight, Fury had no hesitation in retaliation, before Wilder dominated the stoppage time victory. Wilder accuses Fury of manipulating his gloves, that he has his corner job against him and that he burned his legs because his dress was so heavy before he hit the ring. Another loss here would be difficult for Wilde from a psychological standpoint and Fury has made it clear that he is the best boxer in their two fights. With all that said, Wilder hits boxing as hard as anyone, and maybe anyone in boxing history. The drama is almost certain.
Errol Spence Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao – August 21
Spence vs Pacquiao came out of nowhere. Spence was battling Yordenis Ugas in the summer, but got a much bigger opponent in Pacquiao. It is to be hoped that Wence and IBF will have a favorite to join Spence in the fight for weight welterweight titles. Pacquiao is the biggest star, but he hasn’t fought Keith Thurman since he decided to win an exciting split in July 2019 to win the WBA super championship. His inactivity led the WBA to make Pacquiao a “champion at the break” as Ugas rose to full champion. But Pacquiao doesn’t need a belt to make this fight bigger.
Anthony Joshua vs Oleksandr Usyk – Likely for August
When Wilder managed to break the planned heavyweight match between Joshua and Fury, Usy opened the door for Joshua to shoot. Usyk was an undisputed champion before going to heavyweight cruises, and immediately became a mandatory challenge to win the WBO title. Derek Chisora’s somewhat mild victory in his heavyweight bout detracted from Usyk’s uproar, but his team wants his shot and the WBO has ordered him to fight or go offer the bag. For Joshua it is the best fight that Fury and Wilder have in common and Usy will be a lively dog.
