WASHINGTON (Reuters) – A U.S. judge on Friday suspended Amazon.com (NASDAQ:) for challenging the 2019 US $ 15 billion JEDI cloud computing project to rival the U.S. Department of Defense Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ 🙂 After the Pentagon terminated the contract.
Amazon.com sued then-president Donald Trump, accusing the former president of putting undue pressure on military officials to remove the contract from Amazon. The Pentagon said Tuesday it hoped the new $ 1 billion contract would be split between Amazon and Microsoft. Amazon did not oppose the 2019 lawsuit.
