Wimbledon 2021: draw, results, how to watch, play, live updates, scores, TV channel

Following the cancellation of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, it has returned to the Wimbledon All England Tennis Club. Wimbledon is one of the most prestigious tennis tournaments of every year and will feature some of the biggest tennis stars in the world.

The men’s field will look quite different, with two-time Wimbledon champion Rafael Nadal not taking part in the Grand Slam. After losing Novak Djokovic to the French Open in the semi-finals, Nadal announced that he would not take part in the Wimbledon or the Tokyo Olympics in an effort to “extend his career”.

With Nadal at Wimbledon, the main star of the sport, Novak Djokovic wants to get a three-way tie with Nadal and Roger Federer to win the most Grand Slam titles ever.

On the women’s side, Naomi Osaka will also not be taking part in this year’s Wimbledon. While Osaka initially competed in the French Open this year, he finally came out of the competition, citing concerns about his personal well-being. Osaka plans to focus on the Tokyo Olympics instead of participating in Wimbledon.

The women’s field can be very open as the best players like Ashleigh Barty, Simona Halep and Serena Williams have not had a deep race in the French Open.

Although there will be some of the biggest sports stars at Wimbledon, the area will have plenty of exciting action in the coming weeks.
