You are doing a good job.

Last night, Anton and I …
… Make fun videos and eat gingerbread cookies. Then she put on her pajamas, and I gave her a long hug because she had a hard couple of weeks – friends, schoolmates, to say the least. I wanted to be able to hold him in my arms all the time; or shake the magic wand and get everything right.
Then I got into my bed and looked at the ceiling. Parents; not for the faint of heart.
I walk in sometimes, and it seems like everyone is together. Families slide down the sidewalk with small children and chat with the priests. But then I talk to friends and neighbors and everyone does something. Do you remember that old saying? “Be polite, because everyone you meet is having a hard fight.” My friend, who is a child therapist, said his entry box is full.
Anyway, all to say: YOU DO A GREAT JOB; YOU ARE A GOOD PARENT WHO TRIES. One reader once said, “Bless you, new mothers. If you’re trying, you’re doing a great job. ”And I think that’s true for parents of kids of all ages. I don’t know who to listen to (except me!), But I turn my back and send you a hug and look at you with admiration. I love you. xo
PS The house as a paradise, and what makes your child laugh?
