The United States administers 468.5 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine – CDC Reuters

(Reuters) – The United States administered 468,516,782 doses of COVID-19 vaccine in the country on Saturday morning and distributed 581,107,805 doses, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

These figures are higher than the 466,348,132 vaccine doses reported by the CDC out of the 580,893,145 doses given that weapons were introduced by December 3.

The agency said 235,297,964 people received at least one dose, and 198,592,167 people were fully vaccinated by 6:00 a.m. Saturday.

The CDC report includes two-dose vaccines Modern (NASDAQ 🙂 and Pfizer / BioNTech, as well as Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:) individual vaccine.

About 45.3 million people received a booster dose of both Pfizer (NYSE :), Moderna or Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccine. Moderna and Johnson & Johnson’s booster doses were approved by U.S. health regulators on Oct. 20.
