“Top-Level Leverage”

Keller Williams Team Leader Teresa Carter admits that she had “limiting beliefs” about virtual leverage before she began working with Cyberbacker. “I was nervous about not having someone physically here,” she says.

Now that Carter has hired two cyberbackers, one who assists with marketing and one who assists with recruiting, she calls the decision to partner with the company “business-changing.” Carter’s business has had its best growth year ever, thanks to the “top-level leverage” provided by Cyberbacker. “The success is in the results,” she says. 

Diverse Skill Sets

As she began the hiring process, Carter knew that she was looking for two cyberbackers to fill two distinct roles in her business: marketing support for herself and her 250 agents, and recruiting. She was impressed by Cyberbacker’s attention to personality matching and job-fit matching, but she especially appreciated being able to review prospective Cyberbackers’ material ahead of time. When she saw now-cyberbacker Erika’s resume, Carter knew she’d be a great fit. “Her work looked exactly how we wanted it,” she says. Now, Erica helps Carter “give agents a free marketing service.”

Carter noticed second cyberbacker John Francis’ “drive to make the calls” immediately, she says. John Francis has taken on vital tasks like setting appointments, managing databases, and learning systems, allowing Carter to focus on building client relationships.

Communicating Expectations is Key

Early on, Carter had what she calls “expectation conversations” with her cyberbackers. “How do I win with them, and how do they win with me?” she says. An important part of these early conversations was establishing open and frequent communication. Now…
