Goldman Sachs strategist Abby Joseph Cohen will retire for Reuters

(Reuters) – Goldman Sachs (NYSE 🙂 Senior investment strategist Abby Joseph Cohen, a good stock market forecaster who faced the bull market in the 1990s, will retire in late 2021, the company said on Monday.

Cohen joined Goldman Sachsen in 1990.

In a statement, the company said Cohen has played an important role in expanding the global investment research franchise, with leadership positions including U.S. chief strategist and president of the Global Markets Institute, Goldman’s center for public policy.

“There has been a strong presence in the company and in the financial industry,” said Jan Hatzius, head of the global investment research division and the company’s chief economist.
