Actually, the 7 best skin care tools worth investing in

It’s no secret that the beauty industry is saturated with products that emphasize that they can treat all known skin concerns under the sun. Therefore, it can be difficult to guess what beauty products they are well worth the money they earn. And when you take the amount of research needed to find products really to work on behalf of your skin (and its needs), the pressure of doing a routine seems pretty overwhelming. That’s why we’ve compiled a list of the best skin tools that will deliver on their promises.

Full disclosure: Beauty tools are not cheap. These are elements that are not necessary in your daily life, but believe me when I tell you that they do huge difference. There are all kinds of skin types and tools for care, from cheek bones and collagen production, from the topical effectiveness of the product to peach fuzz, from hyperpigmentation treatment to simple relaxation. Skin care tools can do it all. And a friendly warning, you certainly don’t need all these tools. If you’re just starting out, choose one that treats your skin care needs and goals (and most importantly, your budget!).

Below, check out some of my favorite skin care tools that are worth my money and therefore worth a try; your skin will thank you!

What it does: It gently pierces the skin while pouring a serum rich in snail mucin and moringa to help increase cell turnover and collagen production.

Why I love: I love the look and feel of my skin bouncing and dewing, and this micro-needle seal makes it serious. Calm. I know micro-punctuation sounds like torture, but it’s sad and the results will leave you wanting more. After enjoying the treatment, I wake up the next morning with skin that looks and feels fresh, and I continue to see the effects for months before I use it next time.

Tools: Gua Sha

What it does: Gua shak is a centuries-old Chinese practice that uses stone to relieve tension to help release fluid from the lymphatic system in the face and neck.

Why I love: There are several gua sha stones, so I think it’s really about finding the one that works best for your needs. Lanshin it comes with a wide variety of surfaces so you can customize your treatment or choose between The most essential two variants. If you feel a little scared and want to start with a basic treatment, take it Surface gym heart-shaped stone. Wildling also does great body gua sha set alsowatch the video learn how to do it at home!

What it does: Micro current is a treatment that provides very minimal waves of electric current so that the facial muscles are narrower and higher. You’ll see more noticeable results with regular use, but you can also use them temporarily before the photo shoot, but it’s striking.

Why I love: Microcurrent treatments are perfect whenever your face is in front and in the middle. It feels like a ZIIP device super bougie (and it has a price to reflect that), but I get them right after using the results. It’s paired with an app so you never have to question “you’re doing well” and end the treatment with a sculpted raised skin that looks like a red carpet. I find this tool to be as luxurious as the price indicates and with guided treatments the app makes it easy to set up your own mode.

Tools: Dermaflash Luxe Anti-Aging Exfoliating Device

What it does: Dermaplaning (in an aesthetic / dermatologist’s office or home) removes peach mist and the top layer of dead skin cells from your face and neck.

Why I love: Dermaplaning is one of my favorite treatments to treat all the faces I can get in the office, and that’s as close to what I can have at home. It leaves skin smooth to help skin absorb it more easily and helps to fix my makeup evenly. Although I can sometimes replace this tool with a stainless steel machine, I find that the motorized power of Dermaflash makes my skin smoother.

What it does: It emits micro-fine steam to help open pores and prepare the skin for extractions and subsequent products. Perfect for lifting facial setup at home.

Why I love: Not just steam super wonderful for your swimsuit, but it also releases the best mist of steam I’ve ever seen on a home steamer. It doesn’t make it so hot that it’s hard on the skin, but it’s warm enough to slowly open my pores and release any impurities that need to be removed.

What it does: This small silicone disc vibrates gently to help release impurities while cleansing the skin. The cleanser works deeper into your pores and at the same time exfoliates the skin to make it feel very clean and smooth.

Why I love: I have tried many cleaning tools and Foreo Luna Mini is my favorite. A single charge lasts for months, even if it’s not more than a year (I haven’t had to charge mine yet) and the vibration level is adjustable to customize your cleaning. My cleanser penetrates the skin and is therefore very useful after wearing full face makeup.

What it does: Stick these balloons in the skin care refrigerator to cool the liquid in the balloons. Cold and liquid glasses help to remove areas of your face that feel a little swollen.

Why I love: I’m not afraid to admit that I’m a pretty emotional girl and I cry a lot. It’s enough for me to invest in a product that helps combat the bloating of a night. These balloons actually do the trick. I cry these and use them immediately in the morning to reduce the swelling even further. Outside of this use (I admit it’s a super niche), I use them because of my eczema and if my face feels swollen, the cooling effect helps reduce itching and sensitivity.
