“This recipe is just as delicious with any pumpkin you have on hand. I like to plant the variety when I like the gray zucchini and romanesco pumpkin when they are cooked because they have a earthy flavor and creamy texture. Fresno peppers are easy to grow and are tastier than jalapeños. They don’t need a lot of space to grow, you just have a full sun and a pot of terracotta and you’re in business. “
