MetaGear: BattleBots-Like Robot Wars Return in a 2D Blockchain game

Remember BattleBots? It was a revolutionary TV show that not only praised the creativity of the people, but also premiered one of the funniest fights of real robots. In a way, it was a western response to the Japanese mecha genre.

On the other hand, BattleBots didn’t get enough recognition in video games, at least not as much as mecha. The only examples that come to mind are the BattleBots and Robot Arena series for Game Boy Advance.

MetaGear is a game with a similar atmosphere to the show, where you create your own fighting machine components and take part in combat tournaments. In sight, it’s very close to Bom Crypto, a reincarnation of Bomberman’s winning gameplay.

The game is based on the BSC blockchain. The release for iOS is scheduled for Q2 2022, and the Android and browser version: Q3 2022.
