2021 WWE Fastlane card, matches, start time, date, match card, rumors, location

WrestleMania 37 is going fast, and on Sunday night the final event of the PPV calendar will be shown before reaching the final destination of the biggest show of the year. WWE Fastlane goes down on Sunday night at ThunderDome, Tropicana Field, St. Petersburg, Florida, and will surely bring a lot of excitement and intrigue as the most important show of the year progresses.

With the event nearing the WWE’s biggest weekend of the year, Fastlane should be expected to serve to continue building WrestleMania. The Fastlane card is still being rolled out, and only one match has been confirmed by WWE. But most of the best stars in the promotion are expected to be at the event.

The main show starts at 7pm on ET and will be broadcast live on the WWE Network and Peacock. Let’s take a look at the now confirmed Fastlane games, and describe what can be added to the card based on the weekly direction of the current TV.

WWE Fastlane matches

Universal Championship – Roman Reigns (c) vs. Daniel Bryan: It’s unfortunate that Bryan Reigns is being used as a transitional opponent to go to WrestleMania with Edge. It’s especially true that Bryan was once the man who was supposed to be Reigns ’WrestleMania opponent. He fought Bryan Jey Uso in a steel cage match on SmackDown, winning a shot at the Reigns in Fastlane. On March 19, Uso will fight Edge on SmackDown, making the winner a special guest for the match.

Women’s Tag Team Tournament – Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler (c) vs. Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks: Fans can look forward to the WrestleMania match between WrestleMania winner Belair and SmackDown women’s champion Banks, while WrestleMania can steal the entire weekend, as it looks like the WWE program is really struggling to get ahead. Belair and Banks were already challenged to get the title titles in the Label Title when they came up short when Reginald – who was an inappropriate complement to the story – threw in an effort to hinder and help the Banks. Now, with no particularly significant construction, they will receive another shot at the Fastlan label belts while staying busy.

Intercontinental Championship – Big E (c) vs. Apollo Crews: The crew finally had enough to get him nowhere with his nice guy and improved his game by first attacking the big E with ring steps and then embracing his Nigerian heritage. After Big Ek returned from the attack, the Crews attacked again – and again used the ring steps – Big Ek defended his title against Sami Zayn on SmackDown. Now the two will reunite in a match as they have both set new levels of attack.

Drew McIntyre Vs. Sheamus (No ban): McIntyre and Sheamus have already put on a couple of wild matches, the latter ending in a double count after giving each other ring steps. This led to speculation that the Fastlane match would become the Last Standing Man match, but this has not been reported. Sheamus has mixed the image with Bobby Lashley, who faces McIntyre WrestleMania.

Randy Orton Vs. Alexa Bliss: Bliss has tormented Orton since Orton burned The Fiend alive, causing Orton to repeatedly throw the black goo. Bliss challenged Orton to get a match, saying Orton admitted it was a chance to throw him out of his life. It’s unlikely to be a “real match,” but it could signal the return of The Fiend.

Shane McMahon Vs. Braun Strowman: Strowman took issue with McMahon by leaving him out of the WWE tournament elimination chamber match. McMahon refused to give a real apology, insulting Strowman and getting the match scheduled for Raw. Before the game began, McMahon improved on Strowman, hitting the big man with his camera and elbow to set up a PPV showdown through the bulletin board.

United States Championship – Riddle (c) vs Mustafa Ali: Ali beat Riddle in a one-on-one match when Riddle had just competed in a six-man match. This eventually led to Alik Raw losing the title match as Riddle continued to win RETRIBUTION members in individual actions. Ali has been frustrated with his team’s failures, both in the ring and in his games, creating as much tension with Riddle.

Seth Rollins Vs. Shinsuke Nakamura: Rollins returned with a request to join the SmackDown list, with a view to what the brand might have been. Ignoring most of the list, Cesaro took the fight to Rollins, using a long Cesaro Swing to embarrass Rollins. Since then, Rollins has turned his attention to Cesaro, who he has called the biggest talent waste in WWE history. Nakamura recently came to Cesaro’s defense, handing a Kinshasa to the Rollins on SmackDown, to set up the match a few days before the event.
