AMSTERDAM (Reuters) – TomTom NV, a Dutch digital mapping company, said on Tuesday it would expand its supply partnership with Volkswagen (DE 🙂 by integrating its mapping and navigation technology into Volkwagen cars, including electric vehicles.
“This multi-year agreement between TomTom and the Volkswagen Group covers all markets around the world except China and is a continuation of a successful and long-term partnership,” TomTom said.
Under the agreement, the terms of which were not disclosed, TomTom’s technology will be integrated into Volkswagen’s car user interface.
Shares of TomTom closed at 8,265 euros on Monday.
